Home Energy Rebate Program

Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) has a residential Home Energy Rebate Program that offers many  incentives to help those interested in upgrading their homes for energy efficiency. Homeowners can receive a rebate for some of the energy efficiency improvements. AHFC will compensate 500 dollars for energy ratings and up to 10,000 dollars for energy efficient upgrades. Homeowners need to have an energy audit performed before as well as following the energy efficiency upgrades.
